Students accepted into the program with the M.A. in clinical and counseling psychology from William Paterson University enter the program with advanced standing. If practicum hours completed in the M.A. program were supervised by a licensed psychologist, and the M.A. thesis is approved, we anticipate students will require a minimum of 3 years to degree completion. Graduate transfer credits from other institutions will be evaluated on a case by case basis after matriculation. The maximum number of graduate credits that may be transferred is 32 credits.
* The duration of the Psy.D. program is 5 years. One student in each of these years was admitted with advanced standing. Please see the student handbook for more information.
