Monetary donations made to the William Paterson University Foundation and earmarked “Music After School” will directly benefit the MAS program. We also appreciate donations of band or orchestra instruments that are in working order. Your donations help us to meet our programming goals for the next three years: 1) continuing to reach additional participants, 2) offering a second day of after-school music coaching for students already in the program, 3) providing private music lessons for truly outstanding PPS students in our program, 4) adding guitar or piano to our course offerings, and 5) expanding to at least one other school site. Here are some examples of how your donations may be used to help this program $50 Instructional materials and a music stand for one student for one year $100 Guest teaching artist to provide an afternoon of special programming for MAS students $200 Rent an instrument and lesson book for one student for one year $400 Support a full day of WPU student music outreach performances for Paterson schools $500 Private lessons for an outstanding PPS instrumental student for one year $1000 Provide a year of participation for a needy student for one year $2500 Sponsor 20 weeks of group piano or guitar instruction for 1 hour per week $2500 Establish a second day of after-school music coaching for students already in the program $8000 Adopt a school!
