The Office of Veteran and Military Affairs provides support to veterans, active duty service members and their families by administering services that assist with the transition from military service member to college student. Our goal is to be responsive to the multifaceted concerns of Veterans and assist them in achieving their educational goals. WHO WE ARE We are a network of resources comprised of veterans, active duty, reservist, guard, dependents, and supporters throughout the University and community. Many of the employees at the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs are Veterans or currently serving in the military and can provide guidance in the areas of Veteran education benefits, community outreach programs, and university extra-curricular events. William Paterson University, the Office of Veteran and Military Affairs and the U. S. Department of Veterans Affairs, closely monitor each student's enrollment status and academic progress. The student's entitlement is based upon the number of credit hours for which she or he is enrolled and any changes in the academic program. It is required that all students utilizing military education benefits follow the guidelines listed within the William Paterson University handbook.
