How to Apply for a Donor Scholarship
The Donor Scholarship application is available during the spring semester. Currently enrolled students may complete the general application to be considered for a donor scholarship for the upcoming academic year. By completing this one application, students will automatically be matched to any of the more than 300 scholarship opportunities for which they are qualified. In the application, you will be asked to provide the following:
The majority of donor scholarship awards are not automatically renewed. Students must complete the application, including the essay and letter of recommendation every spring, in order to be considered for scholarship support for the upcoming academic year.
The donor scholarship application for the 2023-24 academic year is closed. Click here to see the list of donor scholarships that were available for the 2023-24 academic year. The donor scholarship application will be available on March 1, 2024 to apply for a donor scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year.

Unless specifically stated otherwise in the scholarship description, all scholarship recipients must be full-time students (12 undergraduate credits or 9 graduate credits) at William Paterson University for each of the fall and spring semesters and maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. (Academic status and progress are evaluated at the conclusion of each semester.) Donor scholarships are not available to students enrolled in WP Online.
