RBI Sales Triathlon: Collegiate Sales Competition

The RBI Sales Triathlon, hosted by the Russ Berrie Institute for Professional Sales at William Paterson University of New Jersey, is a collegiate sales competition designed to challenge and foster the growth of the University's students by allowing them to showcase and develop their selling skills. 

Since its establishment in 2005, the RBI Sales Triathlon has been a catalyst in shaping the careers of over 1,000 students, many of whom are now excelling in professional sales roles at leading corporations and businesses. With its focus on promoting sales excellence, this competition continues to inspire and guide students toward successful careers in professional sales.

2025 Sales Competition

The 20th annual RBI Sales Triathlon will be held on March 4-5, 2025, at William Paterson University in Wayne, New Jersey. The competition features three competitions: 1) Sales Role Play, 2) Mock Sales Interview, and 3) Speed Selling. Business executives participate as judges, allowing them to recruit the best local sales talent.

Student Competitor Registration

The RBI Sales Triathlon is open to all on-campus undergraduate William Paterson University students with a competitive spirit and an interest in sales. Student competitors benefit from developing interpersonal and communication skills, strategic thinking skills, access to internships and full-time positions, and a chance to win the overall prize award.
