In this talk, the lens-based artist Yelaine Rodriguez will discuss how she represents Afro-syncretic religions through her use of wearable art, performance, and photography. Rodriguez will speak on historical fabulation and magical realism via her artistic practice and research pertaining to the African Diaspora and Afro-derived religion.
