January 29, 2021 Dear William Paterson Faculty and Staff: Please join me in bidding a fond farewell to the 38 dedicated and valued members of our community participating in the Voluntary Separation Program, for whom today is their last day on the job. I am glad that this group is able to take advantage of the VSP to transition into retirement, a new job or career, or whatever the next phase of life holds for them. All of which makes it hard to see them go. I thank them all for their great service to William Paterson University and to our students, who are the ultimate purpose for all that we do here. As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, we will join together to celebrate these individuals in person, when we are able. In the meantime, we are putting together a virtual celebration, which I will share soon. While, come Monday, these individuals may no longer be our colleagues, they will always be our friends, and they will always be Pioneers.
