July 17, 2019 To the William Paterson community: I am pleased to announce that Dr. Susan Godar will serve as the Interim Dean of the Cotsakos College of Business effective July 22, 2019. Dr. Godar has served as the Cotsakos College of Business Interim Dean, Interim Associate Dean, and Chair of the Marketing and Management Sciences Department. Additionally, she served three terms as Chair of the Faculty Senate during which the University reduced its graduation requirement from 128 to 120 credit hours and redesigned the General Education program into the current University Core Curriculum. She was appointed a Fulbright Scholar and taught in Latvia. Her teaching and research interests are in international marketing, nonprofit marketing, and business ethics. She holds a doctorate in international business from Temple University, a master of business administration from the University of Iowa, and a bachelor of arts in sociology from Creighton University. I thank Dr. Godar for her willingness to serve in this capacity for the coming year. AACSB will be visiting us in October and her leadership will be helpful in guiding the Continuous Improvement Review process.
