MBA, Applied Business Analytics

The STEM-designated MBA Applied Business Analytics program is designed to produce well-rounded professionals with a holistic understanding of the business analytics landscape and expertise in the application of descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. It emphasizes the development of practical, hands-on skills using real-world business scenarios while providing students with a robust foundation in the theoretical analytics principles and concepts, visual communication and statistical reasoning—skills that are vital for interpreting and presenting data effectively. The program includes flexible scheduling and course offerings; career and professional services; and a strong connection to industry. This comprehensive approach ensures that students are prepared to tackle a wide range of challenges in the fi eld and contribute meaningfully to their organizations from day one.

Admission Requirements

For domestic students

  • Successful completion of a graduate or undergraduate degree from an accredited program in anyof the following: Business, Math, Computer Science, Statistics, Healthcare, Psychology, Sociology,Biosciences, Engineering, or similar quantitative, scientific and technology programs
  • Academically or professionally demonstrated quantitative skills and aptitude as evidenced by anappropriate academic degree or relevant work experience and accomplishments, or qualifications (suchas a list of quantitative/technology courses taken).

    This Includes:
    • A cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher

    • OR

    • Evidence of potential success including cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75-2.99 AND two years ofrelevant work experience and demonstrated mathematical proficiency, as evidenced by a professionalresume detailing educational and work experience. An up-to-date resume is required.

For international students

The program design and delivery will allow international students to meet their on-campus face-to-facevisa requirements. Additionally, international students must exhibit proficiency in quantitative and verbalreasoning, as evidenced by suitable GMAT/GRE scores.
