This workshop will offer strategies that the content area specialist can use to facilitate the academic learning and cultural acclimation of speakers of languages other than English. Participants will learn how to set and measure appropriate individual learning targets. They will be equipped with resources that will help them to communicate learner progress to parents or guardians with limited English.
