Visiting Students

William Paterson University welcomes graduate students from other institutions who are looking to broaden their educational experience through study on our campus for either a semester or a summer session. To be admitted as a visiting student, you will need to submit the following:

  • A completed William Paterson University "Application for Graduate/Post-Baccalaureate Study"
  • A letter of good academic standing, verifying enrollment in an advanced degree program from his/her department chairperson.

 

A visiting student is permitted to register only for those courses for which eligibility has been determined and then only if space is available to accommodate the student. It is understood that enrollment terminates at the end of the semester or summer term for which the student is enrolled. If the visiting student wishes to apply for admission to the University, formal application must be made and complete credentials submitted.
